Take Action Now

The need for homegrown, home harvested, home preserved is pretty apparent now. Our grandparents and elders were doing it to survive. There were no stores to buy these products from. Cities and Villages worked on a barter system. We need that system more now than we ever did before.

Five years ago, the thought that if you only bought food on the outer perimeter walls you were pretty much safe. That could not be farther from the truth. On the outer perimeter are fruits and veggies, dairy, meat, and bread.

The truth is, these foods are no longer safe to consume. Only the Organic…..But then, how true is that Organic Label?

I know it’s virtually impossible to avoid these foods. I have to suck it up bountifulharvesting.comand buy a few things myself, but not too often.

You Can Start By Growing A Few Things That Your Family Enjoys

This is my stand on growing food. It’s needed to keep my family safe from the poisons that the FDA allows. It’s a crime as far as I am concerned. I have done extensive research on the long term effects of GMO and other poisons being sprayed on fruit trees, incorporated poisons in the soil of our vegetables.

Cancer Centers, Research, University Scientists, are all seeing a major upswing in Cancer. Also, they are seeing cancers that have never been seen before. Sadly, this is all because of the way food is being grown and processed.

If you never considered growing your own food, or are one of those people who care more about a pristine lawn, please do your diligence and look up what I am talking about. Is that lawn free of weeds more important to you than your own family? If you have to wear gloves and a mask to put that crap on your lawn or garden, it is not safe for your family. It also is killing our eco-system. We need to survive and too much hype and advertisement are harming us. Please

Every ornamental flower in your yard should have a purpose. Whether it is a companion plant to ward off certain bugs to a nearby vegetable, or maybe a flower that is attractive to a bee or a butterfly. Every plant in my yard has a purpose and my yard is very pretty in the spring and summer.

I could write a book about my plants in my yard and how they are strategically placed, but you have the wonderful option to click on any of my posts and learn how I do it.

That is why I started this whole journey. To share my knowledge and research with everyone who is interested in what I know and what I’ve learned. It’s all FREE of charge by the way. Only because I care enough about people and their health, our children and the elderly. Please take advantage of the valuable information on this site. One of my favorite pastimes is tea. Read all about it on Grow You Own Teas.

Step One

Think about the foods that can be grown that your family enjoys. Pick Write it down on a piece of paper.  Next Pick Two that have proven to sustain life, a Superfood type. If your family or children don’t eat those second picks, find ways that you can incorporate them into their diet so they do like them. Make Kale one of your second picks.

Here’s a good choice for seeds.

Next, what herbs do you use most often? pick four or

The next step is where to put them and do you have the room? I have a very small yard and I grow enough to eat all summer. Strategically placing these plants is the key.

You can grow all your herbs amongst your flowers. Some are very beautiful. You can grow beans on a pretty trellis. You can container garden anything. If you don’t have the room, hang the plants in bags on your

I don’t care what you grow, just grow something. One thing if you must. Just do it. Lengthen your life and the lives of your family. I am not ranting, it’s all so very true and the facts are appalling as far as what you are eating right now.

You can read about what I am personally doing to help folks on my Goodness Gardens Page. This is a Community Project started by a friend of mine, Charles Skipper and myself. Because of the urgent need for homegrown organic food.

Chemical use on plants is out of control. You are the Guinea Pigs. How does it feel? FDA watching and waiting to see what diseases pop up and then adjust their formulas to appease the public, the problem is when they adjust their formulas, different diseases, cancers appears. Clinics and hospitals, Doctors, Researchers all scratching their heads saying, ” We never seen this before.”

Help your Family, Help Your Neighbor. If you live near an Elderly person, help them by sharing your harvest with them. You will probably get cookies or banana bread as a thank you. The time has come where we must all do our part in saving ourselves and the lives of our loved ones.

I am doing what I can. I share my bounty with anyone who wants what I grow and I do it happily. I love life and I love everyone. We are all one and the same. Do not judge, just happily give of your harvest and you will be rewarded by that good feeling pang in your heart. Open your creative mind and use that wonderful soil you have. It is worth more than your house. It is pure gold and your earth will bring you health. “Man cannot survive without six inches of soil.” I read that somewhere and I live by it.

Favorite verse from an old song leaves much room for re-thinking your way of life.

“Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend.

Do it in the name of heaven, you can justify it in the end.

There won’t be any trumpets blowing come the judgment day.

On the bloody morning after one tin soldier rides away.”

10 reasons to avoid GMO

American Academy Of Environmental  Medicine

Just a thought to ponder…..Places like Harvard University insist that GMO is safe for human consumption. Really? I would like to know who is the major funding corporation for that University. Maybe Monsanto? I would be almost willing to bet the farm on that one.

The articles they put out should be criminal in respect to GMO and its adverse effects.  Anyway, I tried to find out but couldn’t. We cannot trust what a few Universities say as opposed to the living proof of many. Articles from Doctors in the AAEM Group tell the real truth, they are seeing it in their patients. Please read about this in the article above, American Academy Of Environmental Medicine.

Also, Harvard scientists debunk the findings from the IRT. Hmmm…..Wonder how much they were paid by Monsanto to say that. Just Sayin…..Don’t believe everything you read.

You don’t have to believe in my research, it’s all your choice, but consider this, who is going to pay in the long run? I just hope it’s not your family and the health of your future generations of family.
